Job Title: Shipping Clerk and Customer Service Representative
Reports To: Operations Director

Summary: This role is designed to handle our shipping function. Responsibilities include handling the full process for home deliveries, web orders and Amazon Shipments. In this role you will interface with an up-beat and diverse staff, customers and professional partners, and be responsible for exemplary customer service while ensuring all shipments are packed a processed correctly. Duties included processing orders for shipment, maintaining the shipping database, providing customer service to local and national accounts, answering phones, greeting and helping customers, packing orders for shipping, and other administrative tasks including assisting office and sales staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Handle National Account Customer Service Calls and emails and processing of orders.
Process all orders, create invoices/packing slips, and prepare order for shipment.
Create and produce labels as required for shipments and work with production to ensure products are packaged and labeled correctly.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper paperwork is collected, as well as implementation and coordination of services.
Process International orders, customs paperwork and coordination of international deliveries and shipments.
Preparing orders for shipment. This includes packing of boxes to ensure that orders are ready to ship.
Assist in the resolution of problems.
Compliance with all personnel policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Management Responsibilities: This position will have no direct reports.
Education/Experience: A minimum of two years administrative experience required. General Accounting experience including Accounts Receivable and inventory desired.
Math Ability: General math skills including, but not limited to basic, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve problems and present solutions in an effort to meet the customers needs.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft office programs. Knowledge of shipping programs including Fed Ex and UPS a plus. Basic Excel experience required. Some Quickbooks experience desired.
Language Ability: Ability to read, and write general business communications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for the majority of the work day. Packing boxes, examining orders to ensure they are correct and preparing shipments are part of a normal work day. Must be able to communicate verbally and hear. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
This position is approximately 50% office and administrative duties and 50% shipping duties. The shipping duties require you to stand, walk, transfer coffee bags, pack coffee for shipment and move boxes about 50% of your work day.’
