Calcium+Company Looking for Freelance Front End Developer (HTML Email) at Philadelphia, PA Full Time

Calcium is a mid-size healthcare marketing and advertising agency and is looking to add to its Technology department, reporting to the VP of Technology.

This freelance Front End Developer with a specialization in HTML email development opportunity is being offered remotely or at our offices in Philadelphia and New York City.

Our ideal developers thrive in the environment of variety and challenge that is inherent to custom software development, working with us in a long-term relationship over many projects for numerous clients. Below are the requirements for this position.

Requirements

Experience level: Mid-Level, Senior, Lead (at least 5 years of technical experience)

• Email development:
• Discovery:
• Work with our technical leads to validate requirements from media vendors
• Provide inputs to our UX, strategy, and design leads for innovative ideas and capabilities
• Development:
• Work within a variety of platforms for email development, including using our in-house tool for traditional HTML email development, or developing component- and template-based emails within marketing platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.
• Follow best practices for responsive email layout, email-safe fonts, image slicing, personalization, dynamic data, and other email components
• QA:
• Work with our QA team to validate the build
• Use tools such as Litmus to fix issues across different email clients and devices
• Deployment:
• Work with our Technical leads to configure the email send in a one-time send or a journey-based send campaign
• Measurement:
• Working with our engagement and analytics teams to gather insights and make recommendations
