We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
We are looking for an administrative officer to join OCR’s Product directorate on a fixed-term basis until June 2023.
The Product directorate is responsible for the development and management of OCR’s general and vocational products and their commercial performance. You will join the Product Development team but will provide administrative support to other teams, as required, which will give you experience of the different teams within the directorate and how we work to develop new and revised products.
About the role
You will lead on and provide efficient administration support to OCR’s Product directorate. This will involve, for example, organising and providing support for meetings, sending out commissions, processing finance requests and managing documents. You will also proactively support colleagues during peak periods, which may include additional tasks, such as proof reading or supervising temporary administrative staff, as required.
You will play an important part in supporting the directorate in delivering new and revised products.
About you
You will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be comfortable working with a range of colleagues of different levels of seniority. You will also need to be comfortable and confident working independently, prioritising and managing your time effectively.
We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient, quick to learn, with a keen eye for detail to join our busy and supportive team.
