Position and Responsibilities

The Saskatoon transit warehouse is responsible for safely and efficiently verifying and distributing materials to locations in Northern Saskatchewan.

The shipping administrator role exists to support the Transit Warehouse team to achieve safe and efficient trans load activities. Reporting directly to the supervisor, transit warehouse, you would be responsible for administering inbound freight delivery scheduling and other various administrative tasks to optimize available resources and workflow in the transit warehouse.

Other specific administrative support duties include:
Maintain communications with supply chain stakeholders

Manage and maintain delivery schedules and data

Investigate order discrepancies and shipment errors

Collect and utilize data for visibility on measured KPI’s

Generate reports as required

Maintain documentation filing systems

Duties completed in a computerized/digital environment

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:
Diploma in business/office administration, or equivalent

Three to five years of administration experience in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer skills including data entry and word processing

Effective customer service and communication skills

Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Assets:
SAP experience

Previous experience in freight transportation and regulations
