Act as Personal Assistant for Accounting, Engineering & Sales
Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations,
brochures, publications, reports and related material as required
Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material
and co-ordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments
and organizations
Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and
messages
Maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person
Record and prepare minutes of meetings
Maintain records and filing systems
May compile data, statistics and other information and may conduct research
Invoice and Packing Slip matching
Prepare shipping documents as required by Federal and Provincial law.
Monitor inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are issued,
transferred or sold using manual or computerized inventory systems as required
Compile inventory reports, recording the quantity, type and value of materials,
equipment and stock on hand, using manual or computerized inventory
systems as required
Prepare requisition orders to replenish materials, equipment and stock
Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock
Enter data for production scheduling, stock replenishment/relocation and
inventory adjustments
Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
Prepare NCR’s and correspond with suppliers, ensuring credit or replacement
Prepare and ship products to customers (domestic and international)
Receive and stock incoming shipments
Kit assemblies and sub-assemblies as required
Ensure a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety policies and procedures at all times
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
