Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Systems Management, actively participates in all SAP systems related activity in the client areas. These activities include problem tracking and resolution, requirements gathering, users’ needs analysis, and the co-ordination of system maintenance and enhancement activity. Produces, maintains and distributes systems user guide information, maintains system problem logs and usage records and conducts regular data audits. Note: The ‘client’ includes the Human Resources functions.
Job Responsibilities
Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for Officer, Systems Management Services.
Provides ongoing support, assistance and advice to senior management and to client representatives regarding the resolution of system problems.
Manages resolution of system problems as they occur. Maintains log and sets problem resolution and enhancement priorities.
Liaises with external System Integrators on problem resolution and all enhancement activity.
Evaluates, documents, and initiates when appropriate all recommended changes/enhancements to existing information systems.
Conducts user acceptance testing on all program changes. Obtains user sign-off.
Provides ‘help desk’ services to users of Pulse.
Verifies and validates the integrity of all special programming procedures utilized to SAP correct data.

Analyses changes as they occur to the various collective agreements and assesses the impact on corporate.
Conducts impact assessment on business processes due to system changes, enhancements and/or new developmental activities. Prepares communication packages and distributes to the client community.
Conducts regular data audits to ensure integrity and communicates findings to appropriate functional group(s).
Provides administrative support to the HR planning process and other special projects.
Assesses information requests and forwards to programming team as required.
Produces and maintains user manuals/guides and promotes consistent adherence to corporate process and procedures.
Qualifications
Education
University degree or college diploma
Experience
3 or more years of experience using SAP
Experience as a Systems Administrator (ideally SAP or SuccessFactors)
Previous experience as a functional member with mid to large scale HR technology projects for system upgrades, enhancements, and working with cross functional project teams
Experience in managing and producing reports with applicant tracking systems
Experience troubleshooting in customer or client facing role in a fast-paced environment
Experience in conducting training and webinars to a wide audience of users
Change management and project management experience (an asset)
Other Candidate Requirements
Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, HR processes and data, including pay, benefit and compensation rules and procedures.
Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet programs (particularly Excel) to organize, summarize, and draw insights from large data sets
Strong business acumen
