This role requires you to provide a high-quality service, formed by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) we have with our customers. You will be working and meeting deadlines in line with their specifications. Using your experience, you’ll ensure you produce work of high quality and accurate. Excellent time management skills will be used, as you plan and prioritise workloads, and consider the requirements, to maximise the department’s productivity. Using your excellent communication skills you will inform the Document Services Manager (DSM) if the overall workload and completion of key work is unachievable. The role will give you the opportunity to ensure a high-quality service is provided to our customer, in line with their specifications, whilst meeting time constraints (SLAs).
You will be part of a team looking after all services within the Mail, Print, and Imaging areas and also involved in managing and monitoring stationery levels, as well as the offsite storage process. Producing and collating management information reports and statistics as required by management and/or the customer. You will also have a flexible approach to work, as you may be asked to undertake any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by the manager or senior management.
Following training, you will implement, monitor, and maintain policies and procedures, escalating any recurring non-conformance to your line manager. Working to customer & department deadlines you will ensure duties are undertaken as and when required. You’ll demonstrate pride and professionalism in all facets of customer service, and be accountable for your work. With regards to record keeping you will ensure all required records are completed and maintained, and provided upon request to customers and/or the management team, including monthly & quarterly volume information.
Self-development is important at Canon and you will be encouraged to take further training to develop your skills in this role through the support and guidance of your Manager.
What we ask
You’ll need previous experience in a Document Services and administration role.
Possessing excellent communication skills, verbal and written, you will have an excellent command of the English language, and with a strong work ethic you’ll provide excellent customer service and in particular will be used to working in an environment where you need to work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as part of a Service Level Agreement.
This role is demanding and needs someone who can work to a high level of attention to detail at all times. You will have strong organisational skills and use these to plan and prioritise your work so that the customer & departments receive the highest level of service. Your analytical skills will allow you to evaluate data to determine the best outcome for the customer.
You will need
Communicate effectively and be able to communicate with employees at various levels within the organisation. You will have a strong work ethic, a passion for driving results, and will be an excellent team player. Must be detail-oriented and highly organised in the approach to work. Have a customer-focused approach to liaising with other Departments & ability to be proactive and innovative in approach to problem-solving.
