As a member of the Fusion team, you will play an integral role in protecting our customers, consumer-facing products and our brand. Capital One’s Fusion team leverages a variety of disparate unique data sources to identify adversary trends, emerging cyber fraud tactics, and anomalous activity. We are looking for someone who is forward thinking, with experience producing actionable intelligence to combat large scale cyber fraud, in collaboration with business, identity, and engineering teams across the enterprise.You thrive working cross-functionally and understand how to produce intelligence products to support business requirements, and proactively identify areas for cooperation. We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, to include writing for diverse audiences, formulating intelligence products, and managing or triaging collection workflows.Responsibilities:– Produce intelligence products analyzing cyber fraud adversary trends and the impact to Capital One’s consumer products and defenses- Build productive relationships with other cyber teams, as well as fraud and product partners to identify and resolve significant cyber fraud abuse across Capital One’s business- Monitor external data sources and leverage vendor resources to gather intelligence from deep and dark web, covert communication channels, social media platforms, and other OSINT sources- Create and iterate on workflows synthesizing data from sources such as malware infections, cyber attack patterns, and closed and open-source intelligenceBasic Qualifications:– High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification- At least 4 years of experience producing intelligence products to combat cyber fraud or conducting investigations into cyber fraud, cybercrime, or advanced persistent threats- At least 2 years of experience in evaluating cyber adversaries, technical indicators of compromise (IOCs), and cyber fraud tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs)Preferred Qualifications:– 2+ years of experience with vendors and external resources used to collect cyber intelligence in the financial services space- 2+ years of experience collecting against intelligence requirements and applying intelligence cycle principles to cyber fraud- 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Service cloud concepts and resources- 2+ years of experience analyzing attack vectors such as account takeovers, synthetic account creation, malware infections, and session or cookie hijacking- Ability to understand computer networking conceptsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
