Capstone Infrastructure Hiring For Analyst, Asset Management at Toronto, ON Full Time

Capstone Infrastructure Corporation is seeking an Analyst, Asset Management, to work with the operations team. This role will report to the Manager, Asset Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the power generation sector, and particularly in renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

Integrated Management system & Asset Management Framework

• Support the Manager in the development and implementation of Capstone Operational Excellence Management Systems (COEMS) and Operating Program.
• Support the Manager in collaborating with all Plant manager to develop a standardized Asset Integrity Management Plan
• Collaborate with other department to develop and maintain the document control through SharePoint for all Operating assets
• Support the development of the Asset Management strategies in support of the overall Asset Business plan through analysing data and developing charts and presentations required for senior management.

Contract & Commercial Management

• Support the Asset Management team in the implementation of the company wide contract management system
• Learn the Renewable Energy contract structure and conduct ad-hoc research as needed to support the decision process in negotiations
• Participate in Special Projects, providing support to the team for business decisions
• Support in CAPEX and OPEX budget reviews
• Develop simple financial models utilizing operational data or provide inputs to the business planning team to support Investment decisions

Analytics & Metrics Reporting

• Support the Performance engineer in the data analytics for the operating sites
• Support in the evaluation of Power Performance Optimization and business improvement Projects
• Support the development of Operational Metric reports and be responsible for maintaining them monthly.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce, engineering or science or relevant field.
• 0-3 years work experience in a similar role.
• A person with a high interest in developing a career in the Renewable Energy Sector
• Computer literacy sufficient to operate spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills and effective presentation and reporting abilities.
• Flexible problem solver with the ability to work and collaborate with team members and quickly learn new concepts/processes.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Friendly, personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with colleagues, advisors and the general public.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and protecting confidential information.
