UI/UX Designer

The Role

CAPX is disrupting the banking industry that has functioned with the same processes for centuries. Converting users from a traditional human centric in person process to an online algorithm-based process is an incredible challenge with a potential to permanently change how $5 trillion corporate finance industry works. Our FE experience will play a key role in our success. Accordingly, the person that helps us design and implement the correct FE would be a key member of the team with meaningful contribution to the evolution of corporate finance industry.

The ideal candidate will be an ardent practitioner of minimalist design philosophy with an analytical mind and a keen sense of how visual design can be used to make user experience effortless. At the same time, a focus on efficiency and quick development cycles will be crucial considering the start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Front End of our platform from conceptualization to implementation
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective UX framework for existing and new product segments
• Develop UI standards and designs relevant for user experience and product objectives
• Develop design standards for various digital assets, including landing pages, digital ads, web pages, etc.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Startup experience would be a plus
• Ability to quickly grasp potential or uncovered / unexpressed user needs through conceptual analysis and indirect references rather than through user interviews
• Demonstrable interest in visual communication through minimalist designs
• Prior experience of designing for B2B services would be a plus
• Proficient in various Adobe Suite products as well as illustration software
• While programming skills not essential, demonstrable expertise in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS will be helpful
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in UI/UX design, human-computer interface, industrial design, visual design or similar fields
• Self-motivated, risk taker, curious, independent and comfortable with uncertainty

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
