About the role

As a Software QA Engineer at Car Next Door, you’ll work closely with our QA and Engineering teams to ensure the quality of the Company’s product by supporting the software engineering team in building and releasing new features and maintaining the existing platform functionality.

In this role, you’ll be:

• Creating and conducting manual regression tests of the CND mobile app and website.
• Defining automated test scenarios.
• Writing automated tests.
• Identifying, replicating, analysing and documenting bugs and issues.
• Reviewing customer requests and complaints to identify issues and improvements.
• Working with software engineers to solve bugs and issues.
• Working with software engineers to ensure smooth and efficient release of new product features.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience in product testing
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Experience with Appium, TestRail and Device Farm would be very highly regarded
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with product development cycles
• Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
