MultiCIM Technologies Inc. is the owner and operator of CareChain, a transformational AI-enabled practice management platform that empowers allied health providers (e.g., physiotherapists, dietitians, audiologists) to assess and triage patients for physician specialists. With CareChain, allied health providers can effectively assess and triage specialist referrals, develop plans of management, and initiate triaged referrals to specialists and paramedical services in the community.

Job Responsibilities:

The Care Coordinator will be responsible for supporting networked health care providers, screening and sorting patient referrals, scheduling patient appointments and arranging referrals, billing patients and third-party payers, controlling accounts receivables, and collecting and documenting patient information. The role can be performed onsite, remote or on a hybrid schedule, in compliance with our policies.

Job Duties:

• Maintain patient confidence and keep patient information confidential.
• Represent health care providers by scheduling appointments and arranging referrals to other providers.
• Ensure health care providers and staff productivity by maintaining calendars, managing availability across the network, and flagging capacity issues.
• Collect and document patient information—e.g., through completion of intake, experience, and follow-up questionnaires—and prepare medical reports and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records by utilizing the CareChain practice management platform.
• Generate revenues by completing direct patient and third-party billing, monitoring accounts receivables, and initiating collection calls and reminders.
• Serve patients, health care provider and staff by adhering to CareChain’s policies, and procedures.
• Support high standards of service by developing, documenting, and enforcing standards and policies.
• Support on-boarding and training of Care Coordinators through the development of training materials.
• Work closely with software developers to turn user insights and experience into CareChain enhancements.
• Keep the office operating by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive activities, and calling for support.
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Outstanding communication skills in French and English (fully bilingual – both verbal and written).
• 2 years of proven experience in clinic or hospital receptionist or similar administrative position.
• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of MS Office, databases and patient management systems.
• Very detail oriented with advanced organizational and multitasking skills.
• Additional training in Medical Administration or related field is a plus.
