Full Time Office Manager (4-5 Days Per week)

We are a food based wholesale company based in Port Coquitlam. We need a full-time office manager to manage and learn the different departments of the company ensure smooth flow between departments.
Some admin, management and bookkeeping experience is needed. This role acts as the “glue” of the company, to help problem solve, take on access work and cover for people on holiday or sick leave in addition to multiple responsibilities.
Full list of job duties:
– Create and manage Preventive Control Plan (PCP) and recall program to ensure CFIA compliancy
– Ensuring licenses and permits are up to date
– Perform random check to ensure that invoices are synced with accounting software program
– HR Role – Manage staff onboarding and offering support
-Vacation policy / sick policy managing and onboarding benefits plan
– Help with creating new processes to ensure smooth flow between departments
– Creating safety plans for warehouse and office (external consultants can be hired to assist)
– Working alongside bookkeeper for reporting and forecasting
– Assiting Bookkeeper with Accounts receivable
– Ensuring profitability through reporting and ensuring our margins are keeping up with rising costs of inflation
– Creating and double-checking invoices, assisting with overflow of work as well as covering for staff on vacation or sick days.
– Keep list and notes of employee KPI to use in Employee reviews
We are a small but mighty team and work closely together in a fast-paced environment. Office hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm. We offer a casual work environment with lots of great foods to try! We are continuously growing and are needing a new person to join to help us keep up with demand.
