Job Purpose and Impact

The Refinery Product Planner will contribute to conducting master planning including material requirements planning, production planning, and rail loadout planning for the Clavet oil refinery in conjunction with the area supervisors. We seek a professional who will participate in setting goals and objectives that ensure overall integration of manufacturing and planning policies, processes and programs. This position will report to the refinery superintendent. Key Accountabilities

Accountable for daily safe and efficient rail load planning based on collaboration with supply chain planners, on site rail contractors and loadout team to meet customer demands.

Collaboration with FSQR (Food, Safety, Quality and Regulatory)

Participate in analyzing plant capacity and production requisition data to resolve imbalances between manufacturing plans and required resources.

Maintain data relevant to master production, production scheduling and material requirements planning activities including planning calendars, material data and location data.

Provide necessary input to the supply planner to support integrated business planning.

Participate in creating and publishing a master production plan, material requirements plan and production schedule to support integrated business plan.

Provide input to setting master production and production scheduling planning metrics targets.

Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of two years of related work experience

Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in oilseed processing

Advanced SAP skills

Advanced Microsoft skills

Previous experience with rail transportation and/or logistics

Experience in production planning
