Carrollton Nursing and Rehab is looking for an experienced Business Office Assistant with Long term care experience to join our team! This role will assist the Business Office Manager and will assist in the filing of Medicaid applications.

Job requirements:

• Must have experience in a Skilled Long Term Care facility
• Must have experience with Medicaid Billing

  Essential Functions of Position:

  • Assists the Business Office Manager with completion of billing process consistent with company policies, procedures and standards
  • Assists with analyzing financial verification for the Medicaid applications to identify eligibility for Medicaid.
  • Works with local Medicaid office to ensure data is received in a timely manner
  • Assists with business office functions in records, accounting, billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, inventory and supply management
  • Assists with billing functions, including accurate invoicing of all client services. Ensures reimbursement from governmental payers, insurance companies, clients or client representatives in compliance with company standards
  • Assists Business Office manager with maintaining all required and appropriate logs
  • Understands and adheres to the guidelines of Resident Rights
