Job Description:

Flow – 60%

• Assess processing rates for each area comparing to current staffing to ensure building goals are being met while reporting any shortfalls that may impact Service Level Agreements.

• Create a wave cadence timeline for eComm operations and communicate teams adherence directly to floor leadership as well as to Planning and Flow leadership

• Timely communication for any mechanical and/or systemic driven issues, partnering with IT, maintenance, and engineering resources to assist in correcting deficiencies

• Responsible for monitoring and reporting anomalies for multiple warehouse systems WMS, WCS, Knapp, Beumer, SDI, and MHE.

Planning – Production & Workforce – 40%

• Publish production updates to leadership teams throughout the day

• Partner with operations leaders at all levels to suggest adjustments needed when trending above/below goal pace

• Provide daily updates for actual results vs. planned goals and ensure planned volumes are in line with forecast/service level agreements for wholesale, retail, and eCommerce

• Reconcile all orders by start ship and cancel date for assigned department

Other

• Assist with other projects as required

• Maintain working knowledge of all standard procedures and technologies for the facility

• Support the Operations Manager/Supervisor in all duties as assigned including all operational areas of the Distribution Center

Required Experience:

• General understanding of latest distribution technologies and operating systems WMS, WCS, Knapp, Beumer, SDI, and MHE

• Proficient working knowledge of computers to include Office applications, RF Scanners and Warehouse Management systems.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to communicate and prioritize competing demands

• Proven leadership ability with exceptional multi-tasking skills.

• Advanced written communication, verbal communication, reading skills and basic math skills.

• Must have the ability to abide by all of Carter’s policies and procedures; specifically the attendance policy.

• Must know, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule while maintaining a good attendance record.

• High school diploma or GED, preferred but not required.

• 1-3 years operations experience with strong working knowledge of warehouse systems and process flow.

• Experience working in a high volume dynamically changing distribution environment

• Must be able to work in a multi-channel, multi-shift distribution environment, flexible to work different shifts and extended hours based upon business needs

• Must be able to lift cases weighing up to forty pounds.

• Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time during shift including daily overtime as needed.

• Must be able to work multiple consecutive days during peak

• Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management.

• Able to work on/throughout Holiday periods with schedule to be decided by Management.

• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
