CB Consulting Looking for General Manager at Pakuranga, Auckland Full Time

Pakuranga United Rugby Club (PURC) is the largest Rugby club in the Auckland Region and operates a full function facility, gym complex as well as the sports business.  Currently there are 6 different sporting codes using the PURC facilities.

There currently exists an opportunity for an experienced individual to take up the reins in the position of General Manager.

The main purpose of the role is to manage key relationships, governance and operational structures of Pakuranga United Rugby Club, leading strategy and ensuring the organizations’ mantra “One Club One Culture” is embraced.

Reporting to the Board of Management it directly manages 5 staff and the scope extends across all functions, eg hospitality/conferencing, finance, operations, rugby, netball and other sports.

Key accountabilities are for the Commercial & Operational Management, Financial Management (budgets, payroll & reporting ), Risk Management and Leadership of the organization.

The successful candidate will have a business degree or diploma with proven experience in a management / leadership position and a strong commercial & financial acumen. Experience within Sports & Hospitality management would be an advantage.

This is a full-time position based in the Lloyd Elsmore Park complex and offers a competitive remuneration package.
