CBRE is looking for a Process Improvement Analyst to analyze, document, and train project management team on client specific interior construction processes.
Process Improvement Analyst will work a hybrid schedule (3/2) in New York City
JOB SUMMARY
Analyzes and identifies improvements for current construction project management processes. Documents and studies department processes. Manages mid size projects and implementations, often focused on process modifications and rollouts.
Create, document, and train client specific CBRE interior construction processes for financial services client in New York City.
Document construction process changes using Visio, Excel spreadsheets , and Word . Heavy use of MS Office Suite
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages project team to develop and implement mid-sized process efficiencies. Uses project management tools which may include a project plan, business case/cost benefit tracker, training and communication plan, etc.
Researches and gains in-depth understanding of current processes and formally documents new areas of process improvement.
Analyzes and benchmarks process metrics against industry standards to ensure a “best practice” is achieved when possible.
Assists management in the tracking and prioritization of projects in the Process Improvement Team pipeline.
Conducts time/motion studies to forecast savings in specific areas of a department.
Partners with IT to create technology solutions which achieve direct process efficiencies.
Trains staff on new approved business processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required plus a minimum of three years experience with process improvement, commercial construction project management is required.
Commercial interior construction is strongly desired. Financial services client experience is a plus.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Visio, Excel, Word
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
