Bulmers Ireland is Ireland’s biggest drinks wholesaler, providing a full range of branded alcoholic and soft drinks to pubs, clubs, supermarkets and retailers across the country.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the distribution team based in Kells. Reporting to the Depot Operations Manager the distribution support clerk will ensure that the warehouse and distribution functions of the Kells depot operations will run efficiently and cost effectively
So what’s involved?
Supporting the site DOM and Team Leader on the day to day
Processing of customer orders
stock management using our JDE software
Docket and Hand held terminal order processing
Stock counting .
Ensuring compliance to all H&S requirements
Picking of customer orders
Supporting the Sales team through daily updates on order issues etc
Document control and order management. Filing, scanning, storing and saving of all customers and supplier dockets as required.
Debrief all drivers on their return from each delivery run
Record all delivery failures; including reasons for same
Notify relevant Sales Representative of any customer short deliveries and/or non-deliveries to enable the Sales Representative to follow up with the customer as appropriate
Check in all returned product and reconcile against returned order documentation
Check all returned empties against the recorded empties returns on the customer POD documents
Report any discrepancies in returned goods, breakages, returned empties to the DOM
File driver vehicle check sheets and report any vehicle maintenance requirements to the DOM
Support the organisation of empties sorting and the return of empties to the relevant supplier
POC for any stock queries in the absence of the DOM/Supervisor
Any adhoc day to day activities as required
What you’ll need:
Excellent team player
Multi-tasker
Strong IT skills essential
Previous experience with customer ordering and support
Fully proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
Strong numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and excellent attention to detail
Proven ability to meet reporting deadlines and work with pace and urgency
Excellent communication skills across a range of audience levels
Self motivated, driven and results focused
Pro-active with initiative and a strong team player
Flexible and willing to work alternate hours as the business requires
