JOB DESCRIPTIONS MEDICAL ASSISTANT / SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a medical assistant/receptionist with a keen interest in providing excellent patient care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have worked with a variety of patients and have front and back office experience. Our patients represent those with a broad range of neurological disorders, including migraine/headache, epilepsy, parkinson disease, dementia, peripheral and spinal nerve disorders, etc..

We have concurrent need for an experienced individual to perform in the role of supervisor or team leader, with commensurate compensation.

RECEPTIONIST We are seeking a Receptionist to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This position is one of the most important for any medical office, as it provides the initial impression of care they may anticipate to follow. There is potential for on the job experience that may lead to work as a medical assistant.

Responsibilities: Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff (vital signs, procedure preparation and assistance)

Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures

Escort patients to exam rooms to ensure safety and comfort. ​

Qualifications: Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields

Familiarity with medical billing procedures or processing account receivables.

Strong organizational skills and emotional intelligence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 – $23.00 per hour
