About The Opportunity
Ceridian is looking for a junior to intermediate level software developer to join our team!
As a Software Developer on the Position Management team, you will be working on our ground-breaking microservice solution that helps organization leaders develop their talent strategy and staffing plan. In this role, the Software Developer will work on our Dayforce platform, which is built on the .net platform, using C#, SQL, as well as React, and other technologies when needed.
Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products. You will work closely and collaborate with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality. You will be conducting code reviews of peer work and mentoring other developers.

Skills And Experience We Value
- Great communication skills
- Able to work with a distributed team
- Coding experience in a modern object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++)
- Experience with with SQL, TSQL, database design, query optimization
- Working knowledge of HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS, MVC web frameworks, JSON, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as Dojo, React, Angular, Backbone, jQuery, etc.
- Capable to Design, Code and Test complex/large features at a high standard
- Experience with or desire to work in an agile development environment
- Experience with unit testing and mocking
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
What Would Make You Really Stand Out
- Experience working with one or more modern JavaScript libraries such as Dojo, React, Angular, Backbone, jQuery
- Experience working with cloud technologies in a microservice architecture
- Experience with designing and implementing APIs
- Experience working with cloud technologies in a microservice architecture
- Experience working with an ORM in an Enterprise SaaS product
- Experience building tools for use by other developer
- Experience in test tools with focus on code readability and maintainability
- Experience in Automated Testing
