Certified Express, Inc. Hiring for Wash Bay / Shag Driver Manager at Neosho, MO Full Time

Essential Functions:

• Washes and maintains refrigerated and live haul trailers
• Inspect and repair equipment including lights and tires
• Oversee equipment repairs
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Assist in keeping service department clean and organized
• Drive a yard dog to move trailers to their necessary destination on company property
• Organize and place trailers in proper areas on both concrete and wash bay areas
• Manage wash bay employees, job duties, and responsibilities
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment
• All other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED diploma, at least five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to become certified with the company to drive a yard dog
• Must complete CEI Spotter Truck Certification
• Must be thorough
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle multi-functions
• Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner
• Highly detail oriented

Work Environment: Wash bay duties operate in an outside, shop setting. This role routinely uses standard mechanic shop equipment.

Physical Demands: Wash bay duties require the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. It may also require walking primarily on a level surface or climbing, as well as, reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting 20 to 50 lbs. at least once a day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
