CHAI: AI Platform Looking for Software Engineer at Palo Alto, CA Full Time

We need a software engineer with 2+ years of experience in building scalable infrastructure from the ground up, and who can join our engineering team as we scale from 3-10 engineers in the next year. We need someone who is both reliable and is skilled at big-picture thinking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master, or PhD from a leading academic institution or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering
• Familiar with Kubernetes and Python

Our interview process:

• Expectations

We look for people with a track record of building. If you shipped a product with 100k+ downloads, created an open source project with 10k+ stars/downloads, or made $100k+, you get fast-tracked.

• Initial chat

Instead of a recruiter, one of the engineers on the team will have a chat with you. We prefer to grab a coffee in Palo Alto.

• Personality assessment

We’ll send you a personality assessment to understand you better. This is the one we use.

• Take home challenge

We’ll send you a short take home challenge that typically takes 60-90 minutes to complete.

• Onsite interview

You’ll be invited onsite to meet the team and complete the second half of the take home.

• Offer

We pay top of market. Salary range for technical roles are $200 – $600k+ and equity.

We’ll give you an offer you’ll be happy with.
