Build and supervise the Learning and Development (L&D) team that equips staff with the best tools and skills possible to create confident, competent, committed professionals who help people live their most rewarding lives and create healthy communities across the Access Network.
Acquire, develop, support, and guide amazingly talented curriculum designers, content developers, trainers and L&D partners
Manage all aspects of external L&D vendors and resources
Lead the Access: Center for Education operations and expansion
Serve as a subject matter expert for learning & developmentpractices
Contribute to and supervise the curriculum design, content development, facilitation and delivery of L&D services
Develop and lead L&D strategies by incorporating emerging trends in learning solutions, technologies and platforms including: classroom, digital, hybrid, remote and micro-learning
Create and implement engaging and effective onboarding programs for all levels of employees in conjunction with program leaders
Track critical data, analyze and report metrics and KPI’s for Value Streams, Executive Report Outs and other project teams
Work effectively with functional business leaders to identify critical skills, competencies, and experiences required for advancement and designated career pathways
Ensure coordination and collaboration of learning event activities, schedules and trainers.
Partner with other Value Streams to deploy targeted, effective learning and development communications strategies across multiple channels to increase awareness, access, and engagement with learning offerings
Manages the L&D and A:CE budgets and lead fund-raising activities as needed
Utilize performance data to identify organizational training needs and develop strategies to address problem areas from an educational standpoint
Analyze training goals, identify target audiences and resources and then
Evaluate and continuously improve quality and efficacy of learning resources including training materials and trainers
Expand the eLearning catalog through curated external content and interactive modules created in-house
Develop and support the continued implementation and growth of the Learning Management System (LMS) and other software and systems to manage career pathways, enhance professional growth, improve quality and manage courses
Provide key support of agency diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives
Attend community events as needed as a representative for Access: Supports for Living

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES :
Knowledge of electronic training systems and processes, preferably in a health care/human service environment
Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult and experiential learning models
Strong leadership skills. Experience working with multiple, diverse populations in decentralized locations simultaneously. Must have strong administrative and strategic planning skills.
Excellent listening and problem solving skills
Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills
Advanced technical skills- Microsoft Office, video/audio editing. Basic understanding of HTML and graphic design. Experience with Learning Management Systems such as Cornerstone.
Ability to prioritize, manage time and delegate effectively. Must have great project management skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
Experience in instructional design, particularly for diverse audiences and subject matter
1+ year experience with SCORM-compliant course authoring software such as Storyline
5+ years’ supervisory experience
Experience using a Learning Management System

Must be capable of standing for long-periods of time

Able to work in open space floor plan
