Software Engineer – Oracle, PL/SQL
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an Oracle, PL/SQL Software Engineer Level 4 to become part of a highly skilled and motivated enterprise engineering team focused on delivering highly scalable and available technology solutions across the Payment Integrity R&D organization. The primary focus of this new team member will be to two-fold; 1) support the existing legacy application housed on an Oracle 12.C database. This included the data ingestion via ETL processes. The application UI is developed Oracles 12.C Forms & reports. Stand-alone applications are created in .Net with the SQL relational database on the backend, and 2) help design and enhance the core workflow “case management” application, BEACON, within the Payment Accuracy organization. This includes implementing third party applications, building integration layers on the Beacon backend data base.
We are looking for a problem solver that has a passion for building high quality technology solutions with a focus on thoughtful design and a keen attention to detail. Our technology stack is running on the legacy platform is PL/SQL, Oracle 12.C, SQL, .NET. Our technology stack include both Linux & Windows servers, 3rd-party applications, eb services, API, and public cloud (AWS). We adhere to Scrum Agile methodologies as a company from the top down. Minimum Qualifications
Over-all 5-7 years Software Development
PL/SQL, Oracle 12.c (including Forms & Reports), sql, sql server 2016, stored procedures, .NET, relational databases.
3 years of cloud-based experience is a plus, including public cloud (AWS, Azure), relational data bases, Postgres, micro-services, stored procedures, JSON
Strong analysis skills, thinks outside the box, can work well on their own, capable of defining requirements and designing new functionality.
Strong research & troubleshooting skills.
Healthcare industry & Healthcare platform experience a plus
Familiarity with emerging technologies is a plus.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
