WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are currently hiring a Tea’rista / Team Associate at our Castlemore location in Markham. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated & passionate people to join our team! We strive to attract employees who have an enthusiasm and passion for enthusiastic customer service and great drinks!

Having experience working with customer service, fast paced environment, food and beverage experience is an asset but not a requirement. Functions of this job entail cash handling at the POS, customer service, sales & daily routine cleanliness & maintenance, tea and drink preparation and various other duties required in a cafe.

STORE LOCATION: 9850 Markham Rd, Markham ON L6E0H7

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Food & Beverage experience considered an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Enjoys working independently and in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized and excels under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours including morning, late nights, weekends and holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process cash, debit and credit card payments
• Drink preparation
• Routine cleaning & maintenance
• Various cafe duties
• Possible lifting of up to 25 kg

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Food handler and First Aid certification considered an asset but not required

OPERATING HOURS AND REQUIRED AVAILABILITY:

• The ideal part-time candidates should be available a minimum of 20 hours per week and including the ability to work opening shifts, closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Opening shifts can be starting as early as 9:30am. Closing shifts can be ending at 1am.
