We are currently looking for a New Patient Engagement Specialist to join our team.
Primary Job Duties Include:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Monitoring and scheduling patients medication appointments.
Coordinating with and supporting the medical providers, communicating between patients and providers.
Compile medical records and reports.
Answer telephones, answer questions and direct calls to appropriate staff.
Receive and route messages or documents, such as laboratory results, to appropriate staff.
Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, google suite, and use word processing, spreadsheet, or other software applications to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories, or medical records.
Transmit correspondence or medical records by mail, e-mail, or fax.
Perform various clerical or administrative functions, such as collecting copays and validate insurance coverage.
Education and Experience
Some College Courses or an Associates degree required.
Bachelor degree preferred.
Experience in a medical office required.
Experience in mental health preferred.
