Chipmunks Hamilton Looking for Barista – Alternate weekends at Pukete, Waikato Full Time

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable people to join our team at Chipmunks Hamilton! If you enjoy giving customers great service and making great coffee then we want to hear from you! Bonus if you also love cooking or baking, and working with children!

Part time: This role is to work Saturday AND Sunday on alternating weekends (weekend on/weekend off). Minimum of 12 hours per fortnight (six hour shifts), but can be more depending on the season and school holidays.
Pay is negotiable depending on the applicant.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Making delicious hot and cold beverages
• Serving customers and responding to customer needs in the cafe and playlands
• Keeping the Cafe clean and presentable and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
• General supervision of children and playlands
• Maintaining a clean and safe playground environment
• Being part of a high performing team, and supporting and communicating with your team to ensure that shifts run efficiently
• Opening and closing the facility, ensuring all jobs are done effectively for the following shift

Advantages (but not necessities):

• Relevant cafe, food handling, customer service, and/or childcare experience.
• A current first aid certificate
• Management experience
