The Data Engineerforthe Data, Insights and Analytics teamat Chipotle will beassistingin buildingandmaintainingour newenterprise datawarehouse on Snowflake. You willbe responsible forbuilding data engineering solutionsand processes to enable analytics, business intelligence,andMasterDataManagement. This role willalsobe responsible forcreating andmaintainingthe new data pipelines toleveragedata at scale while helping Chipotlemigrate off our legacy data warehouse(s).

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop andmaintainscalabledata pipelinesusingDBT and Azure Data Factory
• Take ownership ofmaintainingsome of our pre-Prod environments
• Collaborate closely with other Lead Developers tosolutionaccording to teamstandards
• Develop high performance scripts in SQL/DBTto achieveoptimalobjectivesof enterprise data, BI and analyticsneeds
• Incorporate standards and best practices into engineeringsolutions
• Manage code versions insource control(Azure DevOps)and coordinate changes acrossteam
• Participate in architecturedesign,discussions,and codereviews
• Providelogicaland physical data design,and databasemodeling
• Solve complex dataissues around data integration, unusable data elements, unstructured data sets, and other data processingincidents
• Supports the development and design of the internal data integrationframework
• Works with system owners to resolve source data issues and refine transformationrules
• Partner with enterprise teams, data scientist, architects to define requirements andsolution

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionablerecommendations
• Ability to troubleshoot data integrations for performance andaccuracy
• Strong working knowledge of MSSQL and SSIS ispreferred
• Effectively handle multipleprojectssimultaneously and pay close attention todetail
• Have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communicationskills
• Manage financial information in a confidential and professionalmanner
• Be highly motivated andflexible

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Payrange is $25- $30per hour, depending on skill level, experience, and/ or education. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.
