Cigna Hiring for Equipment and Logistics Coordinator – Work at Home – Alegis Care at Bloomfield, CT Full Time

The main purpose of this role is to strategize, coordinate, create, and execute procurement and distribution of supplies and equipment to all Providers to most efficiently and effectively serve all stakeholders and the needs of the business. The role requires management of all vendor relationships to ensure the company is getting the most value for its money. Additionally, the role will be responsible for quality control over all test kits (A1C, Nephropathy, FIT, etc.) to ensure viability prior to being distributed into the field.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategizes on the efficient and effective distribution and deployment of various medical test kits and equipment to approximately 200 providers in the field.

Develops business relationships with vendors to fulfill the needs of the business regularly visiting with them onsite as needed.

Oversees the quality control of all incoming test kits to verify they meet company standards and resolves all related issues that may need to be addressed with vendors.

Creates and works to continuously improve processes and procedures to deploy supplies and equipment.

Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs in an effort to avoid excessive surplus or inefficiencies.

Develops strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

Documents daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory of medical supplies and equipment, personal protective equipment, and test kits.

Knowledgeable of or ability to learn usage of medical equipment used to support equipment deployed in the field.

Verifies that shipments arrived on time and in good condition and updates management and providers on the status of shipments and deliveries.

Reschedules pick-up and/or delivery of shipments as required.

Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiency.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related result.

Meets or exceeds individual and department service levels and service standards.

Individual contributor role with the opportunity to grow into managing a small team

What you must have :
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

Three plus years of experience with inventory management (healthcare focus a plus), vendor management, shipping, and receiving.

Ability to work independently without much oversight.

Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal team and providers.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, merging and formatting spreadsheets)

Knowledge of medical equipment used for screening diabetic retinopathy, bone density, etc; preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $56,200 – $93,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
