The Secure Internet Gateway team is building the next generation of firewall, proxy, and inspection services as highly available distributed systems using cloud engineering practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

○ Have a lasting impact on Cloud Security Products.

○ Work in a fast-paced team to build an intuitive user interface, resilient RESTful APIs, scalable SaaS, and Enterprise Network integrations for Cisco cloud security products.

○ Tackle important customer problems and deliver impactful results.

○ Contribute to all phases of product development, operations, monitoring, and maintenance.

○ Contribute to a no-blame culture that values learning, transparency, accountability, trust, kindness, and mutual respect.

Basic Qualifications

○ 2+ years ’ experience with two or more Cloud technologies to include Docker, GO Lang, Python, Terraform, AWS technologies like DDB, Lambda, ECS, CodeBuild and or Jenkins.

○ 2+ years ’ experience with two or more web application technologies including HTTP, HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks like React.

○ 2+ years ’ experience in building RESTful APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

○ Experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices.

○ 4+ years’ of software development experience

○ Good understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.

○ Working knowledge of monitoring, observability tools, testing methodologies, and techniques.

○ Growth mindset and can-do attitude on problem-solving and troubleshooting of system failures and outages.

○ Experience in working with cross-functional teams with strong collaboration and communication skills.

○ Knowledge of Networking (WAN, SDWAN), routing/switching, L3/L4, TCP/IP is a plus
