The Opportunity

Citycare Property is looking for fulltime permanent Restoration and Biodiversity team members to join our Open Space Maintenance division in Christchurch. Check out our Ecological teams’ recent mahi in the video below!

This role will be responsible for:

• Undertaking ecological and biodiversity restoration work
• Carrying out pest plant control, native plant management and revegetation

Requirements

The successful candidate will have/be:

• A high commitment to health and safety
• A clean Full Class 1 Driver Licence (desirable)
• Current Growsafe, first aid and chainsaw certifications
• A genuine interest in working towards biodiversity and conservation efforts
• Pest plant and animal control/monitoring
• Native plant and pest plant identification
• Ability to work alone and as a team adapting to new environments and technologies
• Passion for the environment

All successful candidates are required to have the right to work in Aotearoa New Zealand, pass a medical, drug and alcohol test and provide two reference checks.
