An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced procurement advisor to provide exceptional internal support, generalist commercial advice and deliver lower value-lower risk procurement activities. This is a hands on role modelling credible government procurement practices supporting a highly competent team to achieve required outcomes aligned with Napier City Councils policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for creating regular reports and provide procurement, contractual and commercial advice to internal customers. You will contribute to the All-of-Government (AOG) agreements, complete procurement plans and RFx documentation with the support of the Procurement & Contracts Administrator to manage the release of documents to markets via GETS, manage responses and draft evaluation reports.
This role has a strong customer service focus. The ability to communicate with all stakeholders, provide solutions, escalate risks and support the Senior Procurement Specialist and Procurement Lead with complex processes with high risk/high value procurement is essential.
