Employees in this classification will work events in various locations.
Essential Duties
- Greet and direct customers entering parking facilities
- Communicate parking information to public
- Sell parking tickets; direct vehicles to available parking spaces
- Count back correct change as needed
- Balance cash drawer at the end of shift as needed
- Work in a variety of locations and positions
- Document all cars going through booth as assigned
- Monitor lot and garage during events, immediately contacting supervisor as issues arise
- Provide positive and friendly experience to all customers
- Set up signs, parking cones, and reserved parking signs
- Work as a flagger and direct traffic during events as needed
- Work as a spotter and ensures vehicles are parked properly in the allocated spaces
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Treasurer’s Office management
