Front Office Receptionist – Clayton Hotel Charlemont

We have a fantastic new vacancy for Receptionist in the excellent Clayton Hotel Charlemont.

Unique 4* hotel filled with character and charm, The Clayton Hotel Charlemont boasts 190 well-appointed bedrooms, Gaudens Restaurant and Lockside Bar/Social, along with stunning events space, and our very own stand-alone Red Bean Roastery coffee Shop on Charlemont Street.

This hotel presents a fantastic opportunity for talented individuals to gain experience in the exciting environment of a new hotel opening and we are delighted to open applications for a Front Office Receptionist to join our #MomentMakers team.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Front Office Supervisor, the Receptionist is the first person that a guest meets on arrival to the Hotel, therefore it is of utmost importance that all staff present a friendly and professional image to our guests at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome our guests to the Hotel.
• Register the guests and take payment.
• Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
• Take responsibility for the security of the keys.
• Update all guest information in the computer.
• Take and confirm reservations to our guests.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer care skills.
• Customer sales experience.
• Proactive approcach, self initiative and desire to develop.
• Excellent communication skills.
