Job description

Applications are invited for the post of Library Customer Support Assistant.

The selected candidate will provide professional, efficient and customer-focused support to users of the College’s National Police Library, carrying out specialist and general office duties.

This role is also suitable for someone who is interested in studying for a professional library qualification in the future, as we will provide training and support to help you develop your skills.


Responsibilities

All applicants must have:

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g. A-levels, NVQ level 3, BTEC certificate and diploma level 3).
  • Experience of providing a customer-focused service
  • Experience of communicating in a professional manner with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to prioritise own work to ensure deadlines are met.
