Multispecialty practice in need of medical records coordinator full time. Candidates should have previous medical records experience, HIPAA knowledge, friendly, outgoing, detail oriented, ability to multi task and a team player. Duties include but not limited to:
Running scheduld for upcoming appointments one week out ensuring all follow up test results (MRI, Lab, Xrays) are in patient account – requesting any that might be missing from appropriate facility. Handles all incoming subpoenas accordingly. Organizes and stores and radiology CD’s that are being dropped off for future appointments. Communicates with medical assisants and physicians to ensure add on’s and cancellations are noted. Answers and documents all phone calls and patient requests for medical records. Assists with scanning and other duties as assigned.
