Summary You will serve as an Equal Employment Manager (DDEEO) for the COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Diversity Manager and Deputy Equal Employment Opportunity Officer to the Regional Commander and all installations throughout the area of responsibility. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing and evaluating a civilian federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) program to include advising on the application of equal employment opportunity (EEO) program requirements and developing strategic initiatives and recommendations for senior leaders. This position typically works a 40 hour work week. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position work is sedentary except for occasional brief periods of standing or walking while visiting other offices.
