THE ROLE
The Position: RCMP Detention Guard
Competition #: CNS 2022-01-31
Reports To: Atlantic Operations Centre (AOC)
Responsible For: The regular monitoring and well-being checks of prisoners
Working Hours: Casual/On Call (must be available with short notice)
Variety of Locations – specifically the following communities: Windsor, New Minas, Kingston, Bridgetown, Digby, Meteghan, Yarmouth, Liverpool, Bridgewater, Chester, Enfield, Bible Hill, Amherst, Oxford, Pictou, Antigonish, Port Hawkesbury, Baddeck, Inverness, Ingonish, Eskasoni

The selected candidate will be a professional and detail driven individual with a strong work ethic and “Can Do” attitude. Both physical and mental fitness is required. This often involves working in all types of environmental conditions at varying times throughout the day or night.
