Mercy General Hospital has 342 licensed beds, a physician staff of more than 800 and is the highest volume cardiac procedure hospital in California. Mercy General is one of six Sacramento area hospitals that are part of Dignity Health, a system of 39 hospitals and medical centers in California, Arizona and Nevada.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Utilizing a holistic approach, the Incumbent provides patient and family care based on the nursing process and consistently provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care. As a professional, the Incumbent is responsible for providing leadership and maintaining personal professional development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position requires at least 1 year experience as ICU/PACU/Procedural or Interventional Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.

• Candidates must have a CA RN, BLS, and ACLS from the American Heart Association.

• Other certifications may be required.

Preferred Qualification:

• Procedural Sedation
