Responsibilities
This is a remote position.
The System Director Financial Management of Nursing Innovation & Informatics Operations is responsible for the organization and management of operations with the Nursing/Clinical Informatics department and the Innovation & Transformation department to ensure they are coordinated and productivity is streamlined. This role will report on and manage the overall financial health for Nursing Informatics and Innovation & Transformation Teams and confirm all initiatives align to the business and clinical value proposition. This position is responsible for managing resources, developing and implementing an operational plan, and establishing a return on investment (ROI) for all strategies. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership across the organization guaranteeing process improvement initiatives are tracked, trended and delivered to reduce cost and drive efficiency in support of ongoing business transformation. The Operations Leader supports the people planning process to deliver an effective organizational structure, and is the liaison/accountable leader for all external vendor relationships and contract negotiation and implementation.
Responsibilities
Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
Work with system clinicalleaders in the development and management of financial and budgetary plans, including value capture initiatives.
Track trend report effectiveness of strategies to clinical, operational and system teams monthly
Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
Build and maintain relationships with all necessary departments, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals as it relates to Nursing Informatics
Align strategies to ensure growth of Innovation and VIC programs enterprise wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize cost
Day-to-day operational management of the Nursing Informatics team and the Innovation & Transformation team administrative process (e.g., finances, contracting, vendor management) which includes planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and/or service offerings.
Uphold CommonSpirit Health’s policies and standards and applicable Federal, state, and local laws, and regulations
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience required.
Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
Experience
Minimum 8 years relevant technical or business experience required
Minimum 8 years’ experience in financial management
Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Demonstrated experience in establishing and utilizing measurements, processes, statistical analysis, and metrics strongly desired
Experience with budget and business plan development
Expertise in development of return on investment metrics (ROI’s) regarding new Care Models across CSH
In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
Knowledge of the principles in problem management and process analysis preferred
Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
Proven abilities in process improvement and project management methodologies preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage effective business relationships at all levels of the organization
A compensation range of$144,000-$186,000is the reasonable estimate that CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
