The Commodities Digital Engineering team focus on delivering digital experiences for both internal and external customers across all Traded Products domains which include Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Fixed Income and Derivatives.

The highly motivated, self-powered and achieving team is looking for an experienced Front End Developer to contribute to and lead the technical delivery of front-end web-based IT solutions.

On any given week you will be:

• Key design role in ensuring that solutions built by the team are fit for purpose in a highly complex, geographically dispersed environment.

• The key role is to manage the end-to-end development of front end web applications.

• The agile delivery mode requires team members to perform multiple functions (wear multiple hats).

• Developing elegant, well tested, and maintainable code

• You will be part of a collaborative cross-functional agile team, surrounded by our engineering and experienced team members.

• Promoting a culture of continuous learning, experimentation and innovation while contributing to the definition & governance of our standards and best practices

• Sharing knowledge and learning through your chapter, workshops, and guilds

• Contributing to growing the next generation of talent through our graduate and intern academy

About you & what you’ll bring with you:

• Strong Front-end web development experience including experience of a modern Java-scripting framework like React or Angular, Stylesheets as well as working knowledge of integrating the front-end with a backend solution.

• Front End Development experience using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or VueJS.

• Experience in Single page HTML5 web apps supporting web sockets as well as dynamic AJAX request response models.

• Well-developed experience in UI design with stylesheets, Build and manage automated tests for front-end code.

• Ability to work within a Lean Software Development flavour of agile

• Strong verbal and written English communications skills
