DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position is responsible for directing supervision of seven clerical and secretarial supervisors, as well as indirect supervision of forty-six clerical support staff for district offices. Tasks include completing performance and interim reviews, handling discipline and grievances, and reassigning staff within an office.
This position also conducts individual and regional training or delegates to other supervisory staff including Right to Know, Workers’ Comp Managed Care, Office Safety, Substance Abuse in the Workplace, bureau procedures and others.
This position also provides support to facilities management by overseeing the purchasing of office supplies and coordinating office repairs.
Full-time employment
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Monday – Friday; one hour lunch
You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia.
Telework eligibility based on operational needs.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and a bachelor’s degree; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
