Confidential Hiring for Master Scheduler at Madison Heights, MI Full Time

The Master Scheduler is responsible for scheduling equipment in a manner that allows all material lead times to be met, while maintaining strong communication with our customer base regarding critical needs, delays, and discrepancies. The Scheduler manages accounts from the initial quote and order processing, through release for shipment. This position will be required to report any pending delivery delays to management, and work with shipping companies to help get deliveries to their destinations as soon as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for customer correspondence and communicating information in a prompt and professional manner.
• Maintain constant contact with vendors and shipping companies while deliveries are in route.

• Coordinate, prioritize, and schedule work to meet internal and external requirements.
• Communicate process and timing deviation to appropriate parties.
• Resolve customer discrepancies through strong communication to internal and external parties.

• Track order, perform necessary follow up and release order for shipment
• Communicate any deviation in the delivery process to the customer
• Resolve pricing discrepancies and communicate decision to appropriate party
• Determine appropriate resolution and administration of complaints, return of product and credits
• Review, interpret, and prepare customer purchase orders for data entry, ensuring that customer requirements can be met.
• Review available material in PLEX on a daily basis to validate no stagnant orders are present.
• Monitor internal material levels to ensure process specific lead times are achieved.
• Support ISO initiative to assure adherence to policies and procedures required by customer service.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a team player always.
• Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Associate Degree (post high school education)
• Preferred: 3 years relevant experience (manufacturing)
• Strong computer proficiency

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail
• Ability to apply sound business practices and make decisions
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills (communication requirements in writing and over the phone).
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload
• Familiarity with product detail
• Experience with modern ERP/MRP systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
