We are an expanding Dermatology practice looking for a caring, energetic experienced surgical technician who wants to join our growing team and be part of our mission to provide an outstanding patient experience!

Full time and part time applicants will be considered.

Responsibilities include :

• Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for MOHS surgery
• Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
• Preparing the patient for surgery including pre-procedure screening
• Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the procedure
• Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
• Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery

• Provide direct clinical support to one or more providers.
• Ensure effective patient care through the implementation of established clinical practice standards, standardized procedures, written and oral treatment protocols, and training.
• Extensive communication with patients, and coordinating patient care.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to learn the electronic medical record software.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Empathetic with patient needs and concerns.

Education and Experience:

Certification preferred
