Position Overview:
Our team seeks an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to steer our company’s operational and specific project undertakings. This role is critical and requires a seasoned professional with a rich background in managing multifaceted business operations, preferably with expertise in the construction realm as a focused subcontractor.
Role Significance:
The Director of Operations will hold a key leadership role, overseeing the comprehensive spectrum of operations and projects. The role demands someone with proven leadership, strategic communication, and deep-rooted business knowledge, ready to manage a diverse team including project managers, site managers, technicians, as well as the audiovisual and procurement teams. Close collaboration with company stakeholders is imperative.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with senior management to align and accomplish corporate objectives.
• Spearhead the project delivery and commercial aspects of projects.
• Coordinate closely with finance to ensure timely invoicing and revenue capture.
• Manage negotiations, procurement, and the supply chain.
• Act as the primary point for resolving intricate issues.
• Enforce and understand local contract law compliance.
• Streamline and oversee project management processes.
• Emphasize personnel development and management within the team.
• Ensure all stakeholders are engaged and satisfied with transaction outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
• A seasoned background in construction project management, particularly in fit-out endeavors.
• Demonstrable leadership with a motivational approach.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• A strategic thinker with a solid business sense.
• Experienced in improving and managing processes.
• Previous leadership role experience is essential.
• Capable of working with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable about AV / ELV systems.
• Effective in English communication and time management.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work purposes.
