POSITION PROFILE
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to build and preserve and extend trusting relationships with our customers. We’ll rely on you to find ways to outperform our competition and maintain and grow our company’s positive image.
To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, be committed to sales expansion and retention to our strategic customer base, collaborate well with customer success, marketing and technical teams and build lasting rapport with customers. We also expect you to be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. Ultimately, you’ll maintain and grow strong relationships with our company’s most strategic client partners.
Key Responsibilities
Be a ‘mini-CEO’ of an account base of 30-50 of Connectria’s largest customers
You will be measured and bonused on the Net Retention of the account base, centered around churn and growth metrics
Build and own the relationship with key stakeholders and C-level executives within the account
Drive and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships across business units
Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively
Own upselling/cross selling within your assigned customer base
Aim to preserve customers and renew contracts
Gain solid knowledge of industry and competitors
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as an account manager or relationship manager for a technology company
Previous experience working for a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
BS/BA in Business Administration or similar field
Experience managing strategic level accounts and spend
Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
Problem-solving attitude and exceptional communication skills
Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
Teamwork and leadership skills
Customer-oriented mindset
