Consult Recruitment – Accounting and Finance Looking for Senior BAS Accountant at Waitakere & West Auckland, Auckland Full Time
As Senior BAS Accountant/Assistant Manager in the team, you’ll be working closely alongside the Director and other accountants on a range of clients from different industries.
Key duties:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties
- Managing work flow and ensuring that the jobs are completed within the set budget
- Managing the relationship and contact with Clients
- Supporting the Directors & Manager with review work of junior staff.
The ideal candidate
- Past experience in a local Accounting firm at a heavy intermediate/low senior level and looking to step up
- Wide range of client portfolio: SMEs, Family trusts, Sole traders
- Comfortable in prepare a full set of accounts via Xero
- Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
- Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
