About the Company

A top tier civil engineering company who takes on a wide range of infrastructure projects. They are looking for a Project Manager with expertise in Project Controls to manage their workload and fulfill team requirements in Auckland.

• $110-130k (negotiable dependent on the level of experience)
• Auckland, NZ
• Permanent Full-time

Main Duties

Your responsibilities include (but is not limited to):

• Creating progress reports and setting goals for the next reporting period to keep the team focused and moving forward.
• Working on major projects using your preferred planning program to a better, more efficient, and more sustainable infrastructure solution.
• Liaising with the site’s construction teams to ensure the project runs smoothly and is completed on time and within budget.
• Securing safety and quality control by providing information on safety and quality control measures and any steps taken to ensure that work meets the necessary standards.
• Collaborating closely with the Project Director.

Requirements

The successful candidate will bring to the role:

• 10+ years of relevant post-grad experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated engineering experience that has been proven in the delivery of complex construction projects.
• Proficient using either CCS Candy, Primavera P6 or another relevant planning package – able to schedule, program projects and create master schedules, reporting etc.
• A willingness and competency to perform as part of a tight-knit team.
• A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
• A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress within your chosen field of engineering.
• Good general skills across planning programming, cost reporting, technical skills, contractual acumen, and procurement
