We have over 500,000 customers! As one of our superstar Customer service reps you will be the first point of contact for everything customer related. This can be anything from billing enquiries to setting customers up for their energy and broadband needs.
This role will be primarily connecting with customers over the phone to begin with. There will be opportunities to upskill and learn our Facebook messenger and WhatsApp support lines!
After the initial training which is based in Dunedin Office you have the ability to work remotely from just about anywhere (Antarctica is out of the question for the moment…..but never say never!)
Our opening hours are 7am to 7pm Mon to Fri and 8am to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Training is Monday to Friday 8am-5pm for 8-10 weeks.
Once you’re trained and ready to go you’ll be on rostered hours (confirmed during the hiring process), Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There are options to work every Saturday with a day off during the week if this suits you better!
The ability to connect with people is a must. We don’t use scripts here at Contact we use #humanenergy, your energy! This means you need an ability to create engaging conversations, whether it’s with neighbours/friends/customers/work mates about more than just the weather!
You need to be confident in using digital devices as we use a variety of channels to create the best customer and employee experiences. You don’t need to be an IT guru, however you will need to be comfortable learning new computer systems and thrive on change!
